Hotel Tanit is ideally situated on the corner of Av. de los Almendros and Calle Costera del Campo facing Parc Municipal El Palmeral Elche (Dove Park).  A perfect location very close to the Old Town with its cafes, bars and restaurants, overlooking the marina, the sea and Dove Park.  Added bonus if it matters to you it is a level walk with no inclines or hills.

If you catch a transfer bus you will get dropped outside Hotel Montemar, so head back towards the Old Town Hotel Tanit is on the corner you cannot miss it. A taxi will drop you off outside.

Facilities

When I first arrived at Hotel Tanit, I was immediately impressed by its modern amenities and 24-hour reception. The air conditioning provided a welcome respite from the scorching heat outside, and the restaurant and cafe/bar offered a variety of delicious options to satisfy my taste buds. However, I must admit that while the flat-screen TV had satellite channels, there weren’t too many in English, which made finding something to watch a bit challenging. Nevertheless, even though the hotel didn’t have a pool, there were plenty of other attractions in the area to keep me entertained throughout my stay..

Review of Hotel Tanit

Room

Staying at Hotel Tanit is a treat for all the senses. The moment you step into your room, you are greeted with a fresh and clean space that instantly puts you at ease. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, it’s like sinking into a cloud after a long day of exploring. And let’s not forget about the friendly staff who always go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. But my favourite part has to be the balcony with its breathtaking view of the sea. It’s the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine in the afternoon and simply watch the world go by whilst I wait for my wife to get ready for the night out.

Breakfast

Breakfast at our hotel was a delightful affair, with an array of options to satisfy every palate. As I made my way to the buffet table, I couldn’t help but marvel at the variety. Alongside the classic staples like cold meats and cheese, there were hotdog-style sausages that added a playful twist to the meal. The Spanish-style bacon brought a burst of smoky flavour, perfectly complementing the fluffy eggs and freshly baked bread. And of course, no breakfast would be complete without a selection of croissants, fruit juices, coffees, and teas to kickstart the day with a satisfying sip or bite.

Conclusion on Hotel Tanit

So, let me tell you about my stay at Hotel Tanit in Benidorm. The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of all the action. However, I have to admit that the walls were a tad thin, and I did hear some noise from the neighbouring rooms. But hey, it’s not uncommon for holiday hotels, right? I just made sure to pack my trusty earplugs to get a good night’s sleep. Nevertheless, the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning and balconies. And let me tell you, cleanliness is definitely not an issue here in Benidorm. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience of noise, my stay at Hotel Tanit was still enjoyable and memorable.

During my recent stay at Hotel Tanit, I must say that the restaurant was a bit hit-and-miss. However, being in such a great location meant that there were plenty of other options for dining just a stone’s throw away. Whether it was grabbing a quick coffee and an egg sandwich or indulging in a delicious croissant, I always managed to find something to satisfy my taste buds until I stumbled upon a more appealing option.

During my recent stay at the Hotel Tanit, I put it to the acid test: would I go back? Well, let me tell you, not only is it situated in a fantastic location, but the staff there are absolutely fantastic as well! It’s rare to find a combination like that, but the Hotel Tanit certainly delivered.
