Trust me, I’ve learned not to believe everything I read in the papers!

But when I rushed back to The Jungle, much to my surprise and relief, the staff had found my phone and kept it safe behind the bar. I was so grateful that I happily gave them a generous thank you tip, and since then, The Jungle has become my go-to spot whenever I’m in town.
On another occasion I was enjoying my holiday, soaking up the sun and exploring the vibrant city when I made a rookie mistake. I left my bag with ALL my money tied to a chair at The City Bar! Can you believe it? Talk about a crime waiting to happen! It wasn’t until 15 minutes later, when my wife wanted to buy some shoes, that we realized what had happened. We rushed back to the bar panicking, but guess what? My bag was right where I had left it! There was even someone sitting on that chair who claimed they hadn’t noticed it at all. Of course, in the heat of the moment, I may have been a bit rude pushing him away and grabbing my bag. Sorry mate, it wasn’t your fault, but you can never be too careful with your belongings, especially in a place filled with tourists like Benidorm.
During another visit to Benidorm, my wife and I had a rather unfortunate incident. We were enjoying ourselves at Tiki Beach, soaking up the sun and sipping on delicious cocktails. My wife had her phone and a few shopping items in a little plastic bag, thinking it would keep them safe. However, when we decided to move on, she discovered that her phone and some of the shopping were missing. To our surprise, the bag had a hole in it!
