Location

Milord’s Suites or Apartments depending on how posh you are trying to be I suppose, are situated at the marina end of Pg. de la Carretera. If you find Milord’s Cafe the suites are above them and the entrance is to the right as you look at them.

Preamble

We were staying at Hotel Maderia Centro and our holiday had come to an end we had a flight booked for around 5pm but as the day progressed we decided that were just not ready to leave Benidorm yet. I jumped on the internet and return flights were cheap so we now needed to find a hotel. We did check a few out, some of the staff were just plain awkward with us only staying 2 nights others were fully booked, I then suggested we had been talking about trying Milord’s Suites so we walked over and asked. They don’t normally do 2-night stays but they had rooms free so why not, the deal was done and we reeked over town in 30 plus degrees temperatures to collect our bags.

Review

Let’s take a few things into consideration, we were only staying 2-nights, they don’t normally do 2-nights stays and this room was available, so I’m going to be kind and say this room was not front-facing and had no balcony in fact no real view and it was very basic. That said staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and it was quiet, to be honest, it had everything we needed I think because we had just left Hotel Maderia Centro we had been a bit spoilt and if we had just turned up there we would have been happy enough.

Bedroom at Milords Suites

The apartment was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect for exploring the old town, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, marina and bars nearby, plus the beach and Parc Municipal El Palmeral Elche is a stone’s throw away. The staff were always on hand to help with any queries or requests we had. Overall, we had an excellent stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. Note: There onsite patisserie with outstanding, cakes at great value plus the serve coffee and brandy if you want to watch the world go by.

Kitchen at Milords Suite

We’ve emphasized many times all we require for a pleasant stay is a comfortable bed, a good shower, and a clean, quiet room. Considering the weather in Benidorm, where one rarely stays indoors, I think it would be appropriate to add air conditioning to our list of necessities.
