Madeira Centro Benidorm is a 4 Star hotel and has a prime location in the heart of Benidorm, situated just a short 2-3 min walk away from Levante Beach. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to various shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment. The actual address is C. del Esperanto, 1, 03503 Benidorm, which is just inside the Old Town close to the pedestrianised street with all the restaurants called Calla Gerona and on the other side Placa Triangular.

Madeira Centro Benidorm is a modern hotel that provides a range of facilities and amenities some of the key features of the hotel include:

  • Rooms are equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning, private bathrooms, TVs (don’t expect many English-speaking channels), and complimentary Wi-Fi.
  • Dining: Madeira Centro Benidorm likely provides on-site dining options, such as a restaurant and bar. Guests can indulge in delicious Spanish and international cuisine, the food is good and you will experience different foods.  They have a fiesta night with plenty of smoked salmon, prawns and crab but on other occasions, I have experienced venison and oxtail.  Food is predominantly Spanish in nature.
  • Swimming Pool: A pool area with a jacuzzi provides guests with a place to relax and cool off while soaking up the Spanish sun.
  • Wellness and Fitness: Madeira Centro Benidorm has a spa and fitness facilities. Guests can enjoy treatments, massages, or work out in the gym to stay active during their vacation.

We stayed at Madeira Centro in May and have booked again for October.  We love this hotel. The location is just within our preferred location of the Old Town and it’s not surrounded by bars or other noisy establishments so you can usually get a good night’s sleep, I say usually.  In May there were two separate evenings where separate parties kept pretty much the hotel up.  That said the hotel management does not tolerate this type of behaviour and guests were told to keep quiet.

Madeira Centro Hotel Benidorm rooms

Rooms are very clean as is the norm in Benidorm and well equipped. We were a bit confused in May as the last time we stayed we had tea/coffee-making facilities but in May there weren’t any, maybe it’s a winter thing.

If you are a smoker like my wife it welcome edition is a balcony plus it is nice to sit out there with a glass of something whilst the wife gets ready.

Madeira Centro Hotel Benidorm food bar

Food is good and warm there are microwaves scattered around the restaurant if you want to warm it up more.  Breakfast has a freshly squeezed orange machine which does have a tendency to flood areas of the restaurant but third world problems.  The is plenty of choice but breakfast and evening with options for freshly cooked items and as I have mentioned you can get some different choices, such as smoked fish at breakfast and churros and chocolate. Don’t forget to check out the free Cava at breakfast.

Even if you are not staying here don’t forget to check out the views from Planta20, the bar on floor 20, the name does give it away.

As for booking we sometimes book a package as we have for October with LoveHolidays but other times we book separately with booking.com we just check which works out best value.

October 2023 Update:

During our delightful May stay at Maderia Centro, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our experience surpassed our previous visit by a significant margin. This time, we opted for a Superior Room boasting a charming balcony, complete with the convenience of tea and coffee-making facilities. A nifty tip for fellow travellers would be to take advantage of the top-notch housekeeping service, which consistently left our room in impeccable condition. Nonetheless, it’s wise to consider stocking up on extra coffee and sugar during breakfast to ensure you have an ample supply throughout the day.

Maderia Centro has undoubtedly earned a special place in our hearts as one of our favourite Benidorm hotels. The culinary offerings, in particular, left an indelible impression. The food was not only piping hot but also offered a commendable variety to cater to different palates. Even though I couldn’t indulge in it, I was delighted to discover that they had the option of ordering steak cooked to perfection every night, a true carnivore’s delight and my wife’s. Furthermore, the selection of fish and the presence of Cava at breakfast were remarkable highlights, especially on the occasions when they served smoked salmon – an absolute treat for the discerning breakfast enthusiast.
