Calle del Pal, 9, Benidorm, Coming up from the beach on Avenida del Martinez Alejos turn left at the sports shop and walk past Cerveceria 100 Montaditos, and on towards Kaffe Klee Just before the Pig and Whistle.
If you search Kaffe Klee on Google it says it’s a gay bar which it isn’t it’s a music bar where all the performers are drag artists. Now I love a drag artist but I have realised it’s as a compare or comedy act and I’m not really into all the singing and dancing of musical classics. That said I have enjoyed the odd hour in this establishment.
Top Tip: If you want to sit inside get there early as it fills up quickly and is very small inside, got to add I do love the glitter wallpaper, but if you can’t get in or feel a little intimidated by men in dresses that you can stand or sit outside and watch, not sure you will escape the abuse but that’s the fun of a drag act.
Entry is FREE as are most venues in Benidorm, drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly, shout out to the own Miss Tina Gloss who is doing a great job.
Word of warning as you would expect this is an adult act so if you have kids or are easily offended stay away, on just checking their site it does stipulate over 18’s only. The last thing be sure to check opening hours as some venues are closed for a holiday during the very warm summer
